They are poor Terms and Conditions. I've seen a trend with Chinese owned companies basically saying that you have to take the risk because we know our products aren't up to standard. I was going to order an 'audiophile' mp3 player last night, which basically said, that this hasn't been fully tested and will require a couple of firmware upgrades to get it right....you can buy it and do the product testing for us.

The consumer credit act covers individuals, sole traders and partners. Crucialy there is no requirement under the act for purchases to be for 'non business' use, and the act absolutely applies to credit obtained by sole traders and partners in B2B transactions. The only time it doesn't apply is when the credit card used is specifically a business card. Personal cards are covered.
It is also hard for a company who sells to the general public on ebay and amazon, or from a website that doesn't require proof of busness status to argue that any transaction is B2B.
