Hi, with the WF7110 I find the best way to cure a blocked head is to-

1) Remove the current cartridges from the printer
2) Use a cleaning fluid and flush the printing heads - leave to soak overnight
3) Fit a brand new set of cartridges (so you aren't worrying the previous set were faulty)

5) Once downloaded and software installed run the software, sleect your printer from the left hand side, select the Cleaning options on the right hand side, select 'Ink Charge'

This will tell the printer to perform an Ink Cartridge or Initial Ink Charge process, it does use a fair bit of ink, but it works every time for me.

I'm going to assume that as you have the same issue with the other printer that your issue is that no ink is getting through to the head rather than having a few missing nozzles when printing.


You could check the cartridge to make sure the chip has not fallen off. This has happened to me with the WF7110. Check the cartridge to see if the chip is still there, if it's not you may find it languishing at the bottom of the head in the original printer. Fish it out and super glue it back into place. You can check how to glue it back into place by comparing the position and orientation with one of the working cartridges.
