I have come to the conclusion that I need to replace my printer, but having just last week put 2 new cartridges in and the other 2 are half full I was really hoping for a different solution. :(

Presuming they are Sawgrass inks you have installed on them, have you contacted their office, they are so helpful, and maybe let them using team viewer take a look at the settings and see if they can shed any light on the problem? got to be worth a shout before you lose money

Hi Mrs Maggot, They are Sawgrass inks so I think I will take your advice. I've got nothing to lose at this stage.
Cheers

Good plan. I think if you also discussed with SG that you are considering an alternative ink they may even offer a joint deal with a SG dealer to bundle either a new SG3100 or SG400 to keep your business. The SG3110 might be the cheaper option but I would guess SG would push the SG400 as it has a number of additional benefits.

Very interesting post it's surprising what SG will do nowadays to keep hold of customers, by the way what are the benefits of the sg400?

I'm not saying they will as I don't speak on behalf of SG, but I think it may be in the OP's interest to at least ask the question.

As for the SG400, surely you sell this machine as well as a SG ink reseller. The inks at least are listed on your site and therefore you're asking a question which you know the answer to. It's in the standard marketing literature and I can point members to our FAQ on this but my link may be removed... :)
