Ah, my mistake, I thought you were using a standard mug press. I have no experience with vacuum machines but I'm sure someone will soon give you the answer you need.
With my 'normal' mug press I avoid a lot of these problems by pre-heating my mugs to 110 degrees before pressing at 180 degrees, but I don't know if that's any help to you.

I've always cold dunked my mugs, I haven't found a difference really in print quality when leaving to cool or just cold dunking, when I want to work quickly then cold dunking hasn't been a problem to me, I got my 11oz mugs from ISUB supplies if that makes any difference.

i have a large plastic box from ASDA i think, with cold water and dunk all mugs and leave them there until ive finished the run or theres no room left, then take out dry, inspect and box up

I use a small desk fan to cool the mugs down, accelerates the cooling time .

Try leaving the mug upside down, for 12 min single mug, 2 mugs 13minutes. At 180.
Its what i do and comes out perfect, dunk all mine in slightly hotter than luke warm water for a second.
