Recent research on another thread threw up the interesting information that, according to the Epson cartridge numbers (from [url="http://www.epson.co.uk/Store/Ink-Toner- ... s/Owl-Inks]http://www.epson.co.uk/Store/Ink-Toner- ... s/Owl-Inks[/url]), the P50 can use identical cartridges to the 1400 (the T079x cartridges). If you have a CISS or refills from an old 1400 then it should work in the P50.
The profile won't be correct, though.
(Be wary that it won't go the other way - the CISS supplied with the P50 linked to in a post above is based on the T080x cartridges which will not work in the 1400.)
Let us know if you try it out and if the 1400 profile is any good on the P50.
