From what you have said I think you have made the right decision. The "blanks" are too expensive among other things for decorating, I have the opinion that you are better investing in machinery which can add as much value as possible to a cheap substrate, sublimation isnt it in your particular instance. Water slide decals are much more cost effective on higher production runs and produce a more resilient product than sublimation does.
