Although the same vinyl from the same supply, might it have varied from the previous purchase? I have had this with different colours of supposedly the same vinyl where batch to batch hasn't always been consistent - not necessarily with cutting, but in my case was it with the way in which it stuck (or didn't stick) to the backing when weeding fine details.
