Adkins just appeared on Facebook, it's the older (better) UK built model...shame it's 38x38 and not the larger model but still a good buy....

I'm trying like crazy to find one but there's just not a lot around at the moment. Justin posted one so hopefully I get some luck.

Press Mech on Ebay (in Doncaster)

IIRC this has been relisted at same price as it didn't sell - could negotiate the seller down maybe?
There's quite a few Adkins on there too.
Always good to ask if the seller can secure to a pallet, then it doesn't matter where it is in mainland UK to get it delivered for about £50

Jennywren has an Adkins for sale as well. She is a member on here and I know will do a deal.
Was going to pipe in asking you to stop looking for recommendations for a cheap set up, buy good quality and you will only need to buy once, but as you are now looking at Pressmech or Adkins then you have been steered in the right direction
Many many newbie's work off a false economy of getting cheap as possible to "test the market" etc. It very rarely works and if you do a search on this forum I have explained my reasons why many times (look for one a few months ago about printers). Also, if it doesn't work, at least you have decent gear that will sell quickly. You are better off limiting your equipment purchases and subsequent items you can sell, rather than getting crap gear and trying to do it all.

I'm definitely on that path now SG, the complexity is being in Ireland. Every decent second hand one I come across is collection only in mainland UK, which nullifies me somewhat. I'm struggling to find someone happy enough to let me use my DHL premium account to collect it, I assume because the onus would then be on the seller to get a pallet and wrap. I've even offered to source and buy and ship a pallet and wrap to a few but no luck on that either.
I'll see if Jennywren would be happy enough with DHL collecting, fingers crossed.
