Have you not considered making these yourself from scratch? Seems like a business opportunity to me, seeing as blanks are virtually impossible to obtain. You could sell them as personalised one-off's, or as bulk blanks to other businesses.

Although I'm recently retired, I have worked the last 16 years as a delivery driver and these number plates are, as you say, very popular. Some have slogan's on such as 'Remove your shoes before entering!' (on the posh estates! ).

Yes thanks guys could look at getting the Aluminium backing and then the Acrylic/perspex all cut to size will look into this a bit more I think, and like you I was once a delivery driver and noticed these every where

Exactly what I was going to say, Nothing there that isn't easy to find and readily available and probably cheap as chips.

..... or ..... cut out the middle man, buy a laser cutter, and do the lot in-house for greater profits and more control over quality and stock.

These ones are all flame edged acrylic and they come with the screws, backing, aluminium etc and honestly I think they are something stupid like £2 or £3 quid each from the far east but you have to order lots. I tried to source them locally in the UK and was coming up with a cost that was more to buy in the UK than people are selling them for online (and that's before doing work or postage).
