The printer I meant! Yes we do a fair bit, as I said it's only banding on blue at the moment but how long til the other colours go I don't know. Just not sure what to do.

So, the husband is currently watching cleaning techniques on youtube, might give this a try. Other than that I think we may go for a refurb 7600 and hope that works.
How do we change it to dye sub inks, just put them in?
Should we try an alternative to sawgrass, Ink Tex or Sublinova maybe?

Ideally get some refill carts and cleaning fluid. put some fluid in each cart and run "Init.Fill" (more details on you tube). When all the lines are clean empty cleaning fluid out of carts (stick back in bottle). Fill carts with new inks, run "Init.Fill". You're ready to go.

I have had no problem at all with sublinova inks and I have used them for a few years. Only used Sawgrass in the 7890 for the warranty....and we know what happens there!

I know a number of people on here use Sublinova, but I'll leave them to chip in.
