are you using adobe rgb or srgb. id suggest adobe if you can to get the best benefit. also just picking a paper type is not always enough ometimes its best to tweak the paper to get the best amount of colour with the least amount of bleed. Profiling isnt easy although those that charge a tenner make it seem so theyre doing it wrong.

You must use adobe print util or some colour management will be applied which you dont want in this stage.

Sorry I've been away from this for a while.

Yes, as mentioned above, the reason my prints were off colour is because my ICC profile was wrong due to me not using the Adobe Print Utility software to print my colour chart in the first place.

I printed a new one and my supplier very generously re-issued an ICC profile which works wonders now.
