Refillable carts reset

Out of interest are they auto reset chips? If so did you let them run out completely or change when you got a low ink msg, as you do have to wait for the out of ink msg not the low, I often run few blocks of colour in order to get the out of ink msg, then the auto chip will reset itself, the chip doesn't reset on just a low ink msg.

Hi yea they have auto reset chips (ARC) yea I found out yesterday that I need to wait for the printer to show the replace carts message I was getting the low ink message and thought that I could take them out and put them back in and it would reset but wasn't the case I also thought the ink levels shown on the printer were accurate for the carts but that's not the case the carts for me last for around one month before needing refilling I did the same just printed loads of full color pages until the printer showed the message, I'm debating whether to go back to using the ciss I was using a CISS before with my old printer for me it's easier and less hassle than the carts
