You can resize them if you wish because the templates are layered. I generally print to a standard size of 8"x3" (avoiding the top and bottom of the mug), which is smaller than the size supplied, but it's easy to modify them to suit.

Incidentally, if anyone is interested, I've just learned that the templates open fine in my (very old) copy of Macromedia Fireworks 4 (its Adobe these days, I think). FW4 doesn't export in the supplied psd format but it'll happily save out as a layered PNG.

Hope that's of use to someone.

These are great and would love some but unfortunately my press won't do any where near the edges or handles and I often get a lot of wasted mugs attempting things much smaller.

I could do it in the oven but if i only get singles thats a long time in an oven for 1 mug.

Not sure if i reduced it so much it would have the same effect.

My mug press is like that, too.

I'm running a couple of test mugs through my halogen oven to see what they look like with the resized template. If they look okay, I'll be putting them on my website.

ajla. if you reduce it it still will look ok. but did you ever tryed one of my templates? there is quite few for free so you can do some test prints.

No I haven't Paul. I would much rather be able to do a full wrap tho I personally think it looks more professionall and as a gift appear more expensive.

welll. it's still dont cost you nothing as I have loads of free smaple templates. will cost you only a mug. how close to the handle you can do?

An inch maybe and that is with turning it all the way tothe right and then left during cooking. Its a bit of a pain actually.

my is cheap one but is fantastic for mugs. is sort of the bms has on offer now.

Its a Jarin press made by Europa Leisure or something like that. I was told they were supposed to be very good but obviously not I have tried to contact them regarding replacin the wrap but i've not had a response. The t shirt press is fantastic.

do you want to change your mug press? or you happy with that what you got?
