Thanks for the tip, appreciated, what would you charge for say a 25-30cm wide banner/sticker for back window, maybe 20mm high?

That would depend on numbers, you will never make a big profit as some fonts take an age to weed out, so it's all about your time!
Dont go to low untill you have done a sample, most clubs I no will do them at £2.50 a pair so if you ask £1.50 a pair your leaving a little to be made for running costs of the club :)

whilst we are talking about vinyl - I have been asked to cut some simple vinyl lettering to go on bike frames - ie 'Acme Bike Co' down the front tube. I need something that is easy to apply - the guy who builds the bikes is going to do it himself, and will also stick like to a blanket. Does Oracal 651 from MDP fit the bill for this application as well???

Authur, it will do the job fine or something like the KPMF 7000 cast which is a good cast vinyl, depending how much of a cruve it's going on!
Just make sure he cleans any wax/polish off with something like a IPA or it will form a barrier between the paint/vinyl.

This is 651 that's been fitted for about 6 years now with no peel anywhere

This is a mix of 651 and white KPMF 7000, 7000 used for the curve over the rear arch

looks like customer is happy at £1.25 each, pretty straight forward font so not a lot of weeding to be done!

Happy days and I happily stand corrected on the use of vinyl :-)

Customer is looking for 10 to start off with and will mention to him also about the other stuff such as website banners etc for more business, he also has other stuff going on, other clubs etc so never know, i could use the business as Jan and feb have been a washout for me re printing and sublimation, hardly done any at all.

Build the business slowly but surely, Nowadays I hardly have anytime to myself even though I have farmed out my accounts and have casual workers all over Wisbech. But in the beginning it was never like that, it takes time, but you will get there... :-)
