update to this...
after using epson and brother printers from the start of our business, we are going to break the fix with those brands,
and have bought 3 ricoh 3110dn printers
cant seem to find any CISS systems for these, so its refillable carts for the 3 of em.
yes it more of a pain to refill than the external CISS systems, but it a hell of a lot more cheaper than paying through the nose for the grossly overpriced sawgrass inks
same quality gel inks we will be using, just sourced elsewhere - and please, no PM'S where to get them.....google is your friend
will get the printers, ink and ink carts all delivered by end of this week, then we can see how these printers perform over time.
wondering what they will be like for clogging, as the epson are a PITA at

Does the powerdriver work if they are not sawgrass inks?

My Epson never recognises the cyan. I haven't got round to changing the cart, but opening and closing the ink cart door fixes it.

update...
got printers here now...
set one up....refillable carts in - gel inks in - powerdriver working great ( colours coming out as they should ) - but getting banding on prints, mainly magenta.
flushed heads, head cleaned, tried all sorts of settings, adjusting the head aliments slightly....nope:rolleyes:
nozzle checks all come out intact, no gaps.....dam odd this one
