is there a ciss system available for the Ricoh SG-3110DN ?
or is it a case of refill carts ?

and yes, i know its gel inks ;), not ordinary sub inks

update to this...
after using epson and brother printers from the start of our business, we are going to break the fix with those brands,
and have bought 3 ricoh 3110dn printers :biggrin:

cant seem to find any CISS systems for these, so its refillable carts for the 3 of em.
yes it more of a pain to refill than the external CISS systems, but it a hell of a lot more cheaper than paying through the nose for the grossly overpriced sawgrass inks :rolleyes:

same quality gel inks we will be using, just sourced elsewhere - and please, no PM'S where to get them.....google is your friend

will get the printers, ink and ink carts all delivered by end of this week, then we can see how these printers perform over time.


wondering what they will be like for clogging, as the epson are a PITA at :rolleyes:

got one of 3 ricoh's in today

got the gel inks in also today, just waiting on the refill carts coming in around 40 mins ( according to tracking )
then we shall trial this one and see what all the hoo ha has been about these printers, before the other 2 get here :wink:

got all drivers installed and power driver

so play time after the post run :wink:

Equipment used A4 Ricoh printer, HP3085 Heat Press Graphtec cutter, Jarin mug press, CJV 30-60 solvent printer and lots of help from DSF.

have not got anywhere near that stage yet :mad: flippin thing aint detecting the cyan cart, and keeps saying the right hand door is open, and it aint :mad:

anyone else with these printers had this ?

dunno if it duff cart. or something we aint doing right with printer

My Epson never recognises the cyan. I haven't got round to changing the cart, but opening and closing the ink cart door fixes it.

yep we tried that several times.

but it showing the door is open, when it clearly aint ;(

having a crap start to 2016 - this printer is going back, and new one will be sent out.
hope the others aint the same tbh, or bang goes my "get rid of our Epson's theory" lol

update...

got printers here now...

set one up....refillable carts in - gel inks in - powerdriver working great ( colours coming out as they should ) - but getting banding on prints, mainly magenta.

flushed heads, head cleaned, tried all sorts of settings, adjusting the head aliments slightly....nope:rolleyes:

nozzle checks all come out intact, no gaps.....dam odd this one
