My QB is desktop based. Never heard about that problem. On the deskto[, I have the same name for a couple of my customers, no problem.

That's really odd. Glad it works for you but all the research we then did (online) says that customers cannot have the same name e.g. https://community.intuit.com/questions/ ... -same-name

I think Xero is going to be our choice though.

We changed our bank having spoken to Xero before doing so. Long story short it appears Xero have a lot of bank feed issues as they're in a Beta stage. We're having a lot of issues trying to get just one of our now two bank accounts to connect.

Just looking at Sage One, looks really good and I got both accounts to connect easily. Only downside I can see is no recurring invoicing which is a shame. I've emailed Sage to see if any other packages offer this.

works online, i have just loaded CSV files for both paypal and bank account, it uses a tagging system, so you can quickly allocate payments, really impressed to far. and free
