Just received a bunch of rock and photo slates - Guess what - They're Matte !!! ARRRRGH. and yes the print is better and feet are branded.

I also ordered another lot from a different supplier (also never used before) so let's hope they come through gloss.

2nd Batch in - ALSO MATTE! - Gutted!

3rd time lucky - New order placed with yet another company.
They have confirmed they are Rock & Photo Gloss.

I know I may be a bit late but do either of you still have some of these matte slates? I have a customer who wants 6 panels. I am unsure where to go to get matte ones because as as you say most suppliers say on there sites they are gloss!

Sorry for late reply - I'm afraid all my matte ones went back.
If you're ordering in bulk there are some really good prices for matte. Can't remember the name of the company upfront but they're like 1/2 the price.

If you want I'll try and dig the name out.

I've gotten these from photomart, who have been reliable with them in the past.
I've been using up my old stock, so I probably should stock up on a few.

Just ordered in 6 boxes of SH-03 (168 slates) from Merlin Transfers for delivery tomorrow - so they definitely have stock. A shame not to be able to support the suppliers we'd normally use, but we can't wait any longer to ship these orders!
