Hi Karen, nice idea but I would be worried about placement. As per logobear and jennywren I think I might go for a cap press, seen one from Monster Doodles for £119 - or I might go with Earls suggestion and the 15 x 15cm base platen. My other final option would be an Adkins combined cap and pocket press... ideal, but expensive.

would advise against the pixmax from monsterdoodles if you ever want it to work for caps too though.

Have you tried a teflon pillow? Yolo sell a sleeve shaped one. If you place it diagonally across the press, with the sleeve positioned over the end of the pillow (and consequently the shirt hanging off the press) you get even pressure as the pillow itself goes all the way across.
