to be honest it's been a year since I've needed it (doing mainly warm indoor events these days) I can remember never running out of fuel, it'll take give out 2kw peak and 1.6 constant so with my press running at 1200w, and a laptop + printer being say no more 200w it's 1.4 so well within the range the generator can handle comfortably.

The really important thing here is to be sure you are buying an inverter type generator as that will will give you the clean spike free power that won't trash your laptop, computer, monitor etc

Honda is The Daddy when it comes to these small inverter type generators but they are a tad expensive.

I have been looking at what might be needed to work on location where there is no power available and came to the following conclusion

There are two other inverter generators worth taking a look at - Kippor and Hyundai with the Hyundai having the edge - IMHO. Hyundai about £620 inc vat vs Honda £1220 inc vat

You can get smaller inverters for less money but its always a better idea to have a bit of capacity in hand and if you are going to use the gennie in the winter make sure its man enough to boil a small kettle!

One thing that no one ever seems to do when running a gennie is to connect it up to an earth stake - copper/brass rod knocked into the ground and connected to the earth terminal on the gennie. Of course its a bit tricky to do when you are on concrete )

You also need to use an RCD

Gennys for 'sensitive' kit are also called 'sine wave' generators. Smooth power, no spikes, no fried kit.

Interestingly the Honda inverter doesn't appear to be a sine wave gennie. Not sure if they are doing something else clever in their electronics or the published specs are wrong
