Yeh film removed before being pressed.

Ok so I have been having a look at the printer settings and noticed i've been using Epson Ultra Gloss ! ..

Changed it to Epson Matte and the image being printed appears darker ..

Then unticked fast print and tested again but that seems just the same ..

See picture for more reference - though i still think it has a tint of brown even before pressing it .. Is that normal ?

Top right is Gloss, Top left is matte .. bottom middle is Matte and Fast Print unticked

is not even point to try to fix it if you print on epson settings. You will need proper icc to get it right. but again... if you dont know brand of your ink so there is no point making custom icc really...

I had a dig around in the box I received with the printer etc and there is an invoice from "Natureinks" so I could only guess that that is the brand of inks I was supplied with ?

Seems that changing the paper type to matte instead of glossy fixed the problem :)

Now coming out a lot better black.

(Ignore the white bits it was only a test)

Hi try paper type matt hevy weight paper and unclick hi speed printing..should work..
