Hi Spike, yes my router is wireless and I have an standard Epson and Hp printers that are wireless. But my Ricoh and 2 Oki printers are not wireless so it was either use the USB or network the printers. USB would not have worked having 3 cables attached to my Mac, the printers are on the other side of the room.
This way I have 2 Powerline plugs near the printers and one Powerline attached to the router. Works for me and I get a solid connection.

Hi ....lol.....re, pish.....posh.....
Spike we have just bought the SunAngel system so with can print white on dark T-Shirts. It's a bit of a learning curve finding the correct time and heat for the Heat Press.....gone through 10 transfer sheets before we got a good press.
We do use a cutter, I have three LOL...I'm a bit of a collector. I have the Cameo 2 and a Cricut Explore plus the Brother Scan N Cut.....yes to many. Out of the three the Cricut Explore is the best cutter imo, but the online software is pants. I'm getting rid of the Brother as I don't use it though it also cuts well.
I have mixed feelings about the Cameo as it is a noisy piece of kit but the Software is the best out of the three. If funds had not dried up I could have been tempted to go for one of the Graphtec 24" cutters. But just like you we are just in the starting phase of this venture. Mainly through my son we are slowly getting interest in people wanting mugs and T-Shirts.
Sorry that was a bit of a ramble when you only asked if I did Transfer with a cutter.....LOL....
