Dear Justin, I might be plain ignorant but the reason for buying this machine is that a it can print A3 and has large containers.

You miss my point, as a new user there are A3 options which get you printing and therefore earning very quickly. Going into unchartered territory is all good and well but maybe not the best option right now for you.

after second and third thoughts I apologise for being upset and disappointed and do not want to leave you or the forum with a bad taste. There is support for the printer and inks in SE Asia but I was hoping for a supplier in UK and did not realise that the dye sublimation forum is linked to Sawgrass. I am just hoping for someone who may have used this machine for sublimation printing to contact or for useful suggestions. I am new to this but excited.

I get the excited bit! I'm new too and have just cracked off my first few things.
I bought a SG3110 for the sub stuff along with original ink, loads of blanks + a mug press and 38x38 flat bed press (both stand alone machines) for £488 from Coralgraph. The ink alone is worth £250. Don't make sense.
Anyhow. I also have an a3 Epson 1500w on order. Going to use that for transfers. I'd imagine because of the heads it would take the same ink as that. A German firm sell lots of it on eBay, but I promise you this. Getting your head around it is tricky. Going for alternative gear is a gamble. I joined here and became a premium member about a week ago., then bought the tackle. After MUCH reading. I don't know how long my presses will last but I know 100% that any defects are not down to the print, ink or paper. In any business there are methods of saving money on operating leverage, but you have to do some part specified. With sublimation its the ink and printer i wouldn't try and cut corners on. That's basically the crux of what you are doing. Anyone can make big irons!
