I'm not sure how many ICC profiles Sawgrass provide, but for best results you want a profile for each substrate/substrate type you print to. We make our own profiles, and tend to use one for hard glossy surfaces, and then one for each of the different textiles we print.

Good idea. I've just been through Sawgrass website and can only find the one called Sublijet-R_SG3110DN_v1.0.3

I'll keep searching as they must do variations on this

If you're going down that route you'll probably need custom profiles for each substrate, personally I really don't think there's any need to use anything other than the powerdriver, it won't make that much difference on the 4 colour Ricoh :-)

Thanks for all the advice. The printer is all set up and printing out great prints.
The only issue I'm getting is when I print a solid black.

I have a design that I sell a lot of that has a solid Black Background. With this new printer the solid black looks a bit anaemic / pale
Is there any changes I need to make when printing solid black?

I'm printing on to BMS European RN Coated 10oz mugs in an over
190 degrees for 510 seconds

Any clues how to improve on the Black

Andy

Yes sorry scotty. It's an oven. The guide says between 6 and 9 minutes.

No worries mate. I'm sure someone will know. I've only just started using the oven for mugs. The beauty is you can do 4 at once.
