Thanks all! Good to know it shouldn't be a regular thing. I guess I've been unlucky with my first couple of boxes. Either that or I'm being hyper critical with regard to the shape of mugs.

I too order pallets from Raja, but I have a couple of boxes of rejects piling up not knowing of any useful purpose for them. I walk past them all day reminded of the £50 down the drain. Photographing 50 mugs for evidence could be time better spent!

Chipped mugs which have been coated over, twisted misshapen mugs, occasional stained mugs, the odd chipped mug with no fragments in the bag. When I questioned them about their quality and possible refund, I got the the "all mugs are inspected twice before delivery." line Not very believable that every mug is individually inspected. I get less rejects with Raja compared to any other supplier though.

None.....or at least so few that it isn't an issue. The very occasional box will have breakages, but in these cases the box is easily identified! Always credited for them. I only use the main suppliers on this forum.

I've never had a complete box. I use one of the suppliers mentioned in this thread and one other and they're just as bad.
Not the suppliers fault as they're well packaged
