About 200 green wraps.
32 at a time for 11 minutes while preparing the next batch.
On average 3 batches an hour per oven.
So, in the 11 minutes you have time to turn around to the next batch - get the last batch out of the wraps, and the new set prepped?
Is that hurried, or a nice pace?
Is this one person doing the whole process?
Been thinking of switching from presses to oven for a while, but could only find people using the tiny halogen ovens for 4 mugs, when I'd rather keep production at around what you're talking about.

What size oven do you have to take the 32 mugs ... a bigger one to get 36 in would be more ideal though!
Looking on Ebay for ideas.
Can you recommend wraps to look at?

No several people to achieve that rate of a good three batches per hour.

Leisurely rate, we work on quality rather than quantity. Takes a bloke the best part of a minute to prepare a mug for the oven (to do a good job) women are noticeably quicker.

Takes about a 20 seconds to load an oven and about the same to empty, and about 90/120 seconds to get back up to temp before the timer starts.

In my opinion the best advantage of the oven is a longer printed image a good 230mm, 235mm at a push with some wraps but 230mm 100%.

Oven is the cheapo drop down glass door type with 2 hobs on top about 50 quid 42L or 45L. The next rack to be loaded sits on top of the hobs being warmed.

Didn't want bigger ovens as would take longer to get the next batch ready, we are only a small hobby family affair pin money for the wife and kids.... Hu kids 6' 4" now ought to stop calling them that.

Wraps are the standard green ones from eBay China at 16 quid for 3, you can do a good deal for bulk purchase but you can also end up with the wrong item doing that.... something along the lines of lost in translation haha.

The new range of wraps from Longfort look good but tenner a time and those red ones seem to stretch with use and then become useless for a while till they shrink again.

I have found that I can print 48-53 an hour comfortably on my own with an oven, two people could probably operate three ovens nicely, it really depends on your wrapping (mine is a bit quicker than most due to the design, yours, like Afermo's will take a bit longer as I have seen your designs). One thing to point out is that I used to get three mug wraps from 1 A4 sheet, Now I only get two. Also I used to use Xpress cheap as chips paper, with ovens I have to use Trupix.

Not too much of a problem, but it does increase the unit cost.

In terms of wraps, I use these, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hot-11oz-Durh ... 2a4bcae013

very quick to wrap and unwrap. I pay £6.99 from Subliblanks.

I am using 10oz mugs and they wrap just as well
