Re: Mug AND coaster mockup PSD files
Is it possible to get certain items made into mockups on request?
Re: Mug AND coaster mockup PSD files
Oh bummer. It is quite old CS2. I use photoshop a lot for other things so can easily justify the £9 a month it now costs for CC 2014Justin;95847 wrote:Very talented indeedJust downloaded mug mockup, doesn't seem to want to work in PS CS2
Just bought the coasters as well, great work should be rewarded!

Just got CS2 installed at home, CS4 in the office, will have to change this version then
Often thought about CC but I use Illustrator and PShop.

Yes. Most of them will do jobs on request. Not sure how much they chargeJustin;95849 wrote:Is it possible to get certain items made into mockups on request?

Working a treat in CS4
Superb.
Thanks Paul, I have a customer who only buys one particular item and it would be great to get some images, will have to look into this further.

downloaded mug one to see if any better than the PS script ...yep it is...
only prob is....saving as png - 16.5mb !!!!.. way to large for quick loading time for any web site.
if you save as jpeg / jpg , 100kb and it dont look right

Re: Mug AND coaster mockup PSD files
Have you tried the Save ForWeb feature to bring the size down? Only issue I've found is when the image shows the handle it goes right over as there's no gap, I guess that just needs tweaking though.

same as if saved with jpg / jpeg

Re: Mug AND coaster mockup PSD files
bigj - looks to me like you've slightly moved the layer that holds the smart object details (your design). When you have finished design on the psb file, flatten it and save. Ive looked at the master copy and it is perfectly aligned so user error there Im afraid. As for size flatten everything and then go to Image> Image Size and choose a height...1024 is usually plenty for web use
Justin - yes on that design just make a blank layer above the blue grid one - fill with white and then with your design layer at top move it to the right - flatten and save and it will be clear of the handle. How much? About 20% worked for me.
