My first attempt at sublimation printing was many years ago with an Epson (I've only just started agaian with a Ricoh) The Epson was more trouble than it was worth, constantly blocking and generally playing up to the extent I just dumped the lot and gave up and concentrated on my 'proper job' my office epson went the same way for the same reason - sort of ironic that the majority of the large format printers upto 1500mm wide used in the sign industry tend to use Epson heads and have a reputation of being pretty reliable when used hard.

Gary, which part of Cambridge are you in, you're just up the road from me.

I'm in Chesterton on the edge of Cambridge...swallowed up by Cambridge. Poor quality sublimation ink into budget home printers, what do we expect? I'll stick with Epson simply because I can put higher quality ink into it instead of being dictated too and forced to use some outdated ink formulae. I'd say that this printer is probably better than my old sub printers regardless.
