This seems odd, can we see a photo of the problem mugs and the good mugs?

The type of photo isn't going to make a difference. It is most likely that the variations in the mugs are causing problems. Some mug presses are not very tolerant of low quality mugs.

Thank you Redquasar.

i have increased the time and temperature and it has improved so I think that was the problem.

I have also ordered an icc profile too just to make sure the colours are ok.

i was using office publisher for my templates but have started using photoshop elements 11 so when my profile is ready I will test again and hope that the results should be good.
