Re: Silhouette Cameo and heat press

Post by Vynmarius »

Due to a recent upgrade (roland bn-20) (adkins beta maxi) I no longer have need for my start up gear.

I have a first generation silhouette cameo A3 cutter and a unbranded heat press similar to

(http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-IN-38-x-3 ... 1658947893)

I bought from this seller a couple of years ago.

I have used this equipment to make many garments using vinyl, Jetpro softstrech and 3G opaque (not had much luck with laser transfers) and it can be seen working with any training needs and tests welcome, I also have two spare blades for the cameo plus cutting mat and many sheets of assorted garment vinyl to throw in.

This opened the door to garment decoration for me with silhouettes easy to use software and low space requirements, all you need is a laptop/pc (inkjet printer for images) and some good ideas and you can take this portable setup and make a good return on your money.

Garments is just one avenue, but its what I did and I have seen stickers and craft items made using the cutter.

Im based in huddersfield and have a workshop where this can be seen.

Asking £250.00 total

Any questions welcome

Kind regards,
Ben

It heats up great, calibration is a little off, its usually hotter than the displayed temp but a infared thermometer (£10 ebay) will be a decent check, it opens and closes and has manual pressure screw
