Thanks ArferMo, as I suspected, a 40x60 seems to be what I shall have to get.
I'll start another thread for my next question !

Hi.

these will be interesting one, so people can see how it looks on cheap NO BRAND heat press ;)

Heat press: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-DIGITAL-S ... 2a24acf592
Measurements: Corners: 197/196/200/201. Center:199. So 20 over what's set on the clock.
Variance: ONLY 4... but 20 out of what clock says.

you wont gvet an accurate measurement with the press OPEN the air temperatre and any movement will effect the reading, get a probe thermometer and measure iwth the press closed.

they are no good with reflective materials like flat heat press elements and the ONLY way to accurately measure a heat press is when its CLOSED , infra red thermometers are not supposed to be used for measuring heat presses at all to be fair. I use a probe style its way more accurate

There's quite a wide range of prices on ebay for the temp gauge. Yet they all look similar. Can anyone recommend? How do you know whether they are accurate or not?

LOL - I've just noticed the dates on this thread!
What was the eventual outcome of the tests? Did people use an infrared gauge or a probe?
