Can anybody suggest the best and most cost effective way of posting mugs.(ie courier companys) worldwide and uk ...I am getting quite a few customers asking for tracking but with royal mail this is far to expensive..

Tracking is rather pointless, I don't know why customers think they need it? They want a guaranteed delivery day rather than tracking. Guaranteed delivery is going to be £7.50. Anything cheaper is going to be 3 plus days with awkward collection points at local shops.

I use Citylink. I am sending on average 200 parcels a week all under 10 kilos. Collected daily and can be tracked online with a delivery window for the customer (most of them do this these days), I pay £4.70 plus VAT per consignment. So depending on your numbers you can get pretty decent rates.
