Anyone Having Any Luck Using the 3D Mini Sub Machine

Hi All, I have spent just on £600 purchasing the Richo 3100DN Printer, SubliJet-R Ink and the 3D Mini Sub Machine.

But for the life of me I am unable to get any decent mug out of the machine.
I am pre heating the £D Mini Sub to 190 for 200 seconds and then leaving the mug in the 3D Mini Sub for 400 seconds,
Reds printing pinky purples and royal blues are printing lighter.

I have tried printing using the PowerDriver, and printing using the Richo driver but with the same results.
At a loss at what I need to try next as I am fast running out of mugs.

I have been through the Photoshop, download and setup of the PowerDriver and the ICC profile a number of times now from SawGrass.

Can anyone help as I am slowly losing the will to live.

Just a thought, I assume you've contacted the supplier of the equipment seeking their advice.

That would be my first port of call

Hi Bob, thanks for replying.
I haven't yet as there seems to be so many different variables that could be causing the problem,
Wrong paper, but I am using the TextPrint-R Paper, Wrong Mugs, Wrong Temperature, Wrong length of time.

Got the opportunity to supply 50 mugs per month to a potential client, but if the mugs are coming our wrong, they will just use someone else.
So frustrating at the moment.

& I dont have the money to purchase the single mug press.

well if i had a customer ordering 50 mugs per month, i would have to take a deposit of at least 50% upfront and surely that would pay for the mug press

Hi Gents, Been on to support @UKCutter.co.uk who have been no help at all.

@Nash - The customer wants to see an example first before he commits, I have already said 50% upfront and 50% when I deliver the printed mugs.
But I cant get the print right to show him the example.

I'm using exactly same set up as you right now as we speak. except the paper. i use xpress sublimation paper. very good.
Im printing 50 mugs now with this 3d machine and every single one is perfect.
180C 500sec works best for me.

loads of reds and all look great. but this is with custom icc. with standard Rjet icc i had loads of pink too.

Hi Paul, I will be getting a custom iCC profile off you over the next few days.

Thanks for the info, I will give the 180c 500sec a try tonight and let you know the results.
If I need to purchase better paper I will as I am flying through mugs like there is no tomorrow.

How long would the iCC profile take to setup, Do you provide step by step guidance / user guide help to install your profile?

Hi Paul, Sorry, Forgot to ask, Do you pre heat the 3D mini sub for any length of time @180c

I am pre heating to 190c for 200 seconds

500sec is for more then two mugs.
I just switch it ON and wait till them reach correct temp. Once 180C is on the clock i shovel mugs in and wait few seconds. when temp stopped dropping, I start the countdown.
