Epson or Ricoh, Ricoh will be a lot less hassle in the long run. 3110 is the A4 option.

1500 was a cracking printer for me, only slight issue I had was with the paper catching. Print quality is superb due to the 6 colours, far better than any of the 4. That said, if you want a clean and simple solution you'd be hard pushed to beat the Ricohs right now. Ink costs are the same but obviously you need 6 colours for the 1500. 3110 is only a 4 colour but print is perfectly adequate.

No one on here can supply ink other than Sawgrass approved due to the patent restrictions I'm afraid. Paper and a profile are no problem but you get profiles/PowerDriver with the Sawgrass inks. You may well be able to source third party inks but we cannot offer you any help with this or ongoing support. Unless you have a good level of knowledge I would advice going down the official route....at least to start with :-)

If you are going down the route of adding a CISS to the 1500, DO NOT try and take the lid of the top of the cartridge bay. I found a way to slightly modify the lid and I can use my 1500 with the lid intact and it is for me much better.
