Installed a test site and it looks really good, some great features. Still not decided if I prefer to OpenCart as I know OC so well.
It looks very professional and the site seems to run very smoothly. I'm setting up another site and might just play with Prestashop for a comparison. One thing I did notice is paid modules & themes seemed very expensive, but maybe they're worth it?
Prestashop anyone using?

Re: Prestashop anyone using?
I have used prestashop for 5 years now, there are plenty of free templates and themes via the forum, so dont worry about using the paid ones,

I'm using prestashop too. There are lots of modules in the original installation, they need installing/enabling from the modules menu. I found the best way was to disable them all, then enable one at a time to see what they did, keeping the ones I wanted.
As Mrs Maggot says: get a logon to the forum - there's plenty of help & free stuff available there.

Re: Prestashop anyone using?
Great to hear some positive feedback. It looked a little alien compared to OC when I first installed but all seems very logical. Will sign up to the forum, thank you for that

Downloaded free theme, downloaded and installed, followed instruction to regenerate wrong sized pics, job done in 5 mins start to finish. Really easy procedure on Prestashop, I've had problems doing this in OC. Will carry on with my test site before moving my main site across but so far so good, very impressed!
