35% cost increase

My eyes are watering!

I have just gone to re-order some mugs from Longforte, coloured rim and handle, and they have gone up by 35%....ouch. There is now a huge range of prices from the main suppliers.

Tread cautious if you are tendering for a job.

Just to expand a bit now that I have got up off the floor. Longforte are now priced around the same point as the majority of suppliers, I have re-ordered from them because they have printed without a problem....but I did consider changing to the cheapest supplier who I have ordered from in the past...most printed fine, but the occasional duff mug would pop up.

Probably something to do with the anti-dumping import duty that mugs from China attract now. This can add 40%+ to the buy price.

careful Janners there is an anti dumping duty coming to the DSF soon, hence why BMS are trying to dump as many posts as possible :biggrin:
