Re: 3d sublimation case printing - corners
Hi Paul, really useful and informative video. It took me a while and some help from Scott from BMS to get the corners just right as well. The way we do it now is virtually exactly what you do but rather than fold down the top and bottom paper we actually stick it down with tape to the case. I may try your way though in case it gives the same results and is quicker. Out of interest, did your universal cooling jig and the case mould jig come with your mini vacuum or did you buy separately? Thanks.

hi there! I will try to tape it as you do and see as well
my cooling jig came with my 3d mini printer. other moulds i had to buy separately. but they are all from same supplier.

Paul

Re: 3d sublimation case printing - corners
I too am having real problems with corners on designs that have solid colour all the way round. Patterns aren't quite so noticeable so I get way with it. But am doing a run for a club with a logo on black and am getting the white crease marks round the corners.
I've always been advised use a hot puck but this method uses it cold.
The result I am getting is that hardly any of the print is transferring to the case and is very feint. I got one good one out of four.
Trupix paper, Sublijet ink, ST3042 press.
