It never worked properly in the first place, that is why I wouldn't touch it with a dozen barge poles. Take W8 of and put W7 on! Poor bin, fancy having to put up with that abuse, having W8 thrown at it, such cruelty!!

The only good thing is that now I can't do work at home but frustrating as I have bring my spare lap top in and out of the shop to finish the art work. Mind you windows lets me read the Mail, do face book and come on this forum to write negative things about window 8.

Its taken a while but im starting to enjoy my windows 8 experience. Ive had a few issues when trying to load hardware like cheap chinese cutters. But stick with it and its fine but that is only my opinion.

My opinion would be stick with Windows 7 all the way for work related stuff.

Windows 8 is fine for home use, and great if you have a touch screen, but even being able to switch it to desktop mode, I don't like it! I am a tinkerer and like to have everything set up my own way, and I found it hard to do this with Windows 8, although I normally work on a Mac so maybe I didn't spend enough time with it.
