Hi

I have some ceramic hearts printing one side in vacuum machine comes out perfect. But on some i need to do both sides, so do side wait for it to cool then do the other side, . The first side( the one with girls on ) is now blurred .

if you at look the girl on the left (her shoulder)you can see mark where heat tape was stuck on, seems to have stopped it blurring. if covered the whole side in heat tape would this work. ( i will try it later)

has anybody got any tips or ideas to help prevent this.

thanks

I'm very new to this but why not get something that will sit in the bottom of the oven which you can place the heart onto with print on both sides and try that? The bottom will be a flat surface and the vacuum will give the suction for both sides.

I don't use a vacuum press for these but a clam press and I use a piece of paper underneath and am able to print both sides without bleeding.I do one side then allow to cool then do the other. Probably does need the paper to stop a blowout. Never thought about it before. Just seems to work.
