EPS is blank when opened in corel

Hi guys
I have been sent a schools logo as an EPS file. When I try to import it into Corel Draw 12 it is blank yet if I use an online viewer it opens the logo.
How can I get it to open in Corel. I am using windows XP.
The little icon to resize it file or press enter to centre it says the measurements are 00.00mm by 00.00mm.
I am at a loss.

Have you tried opening it, instead of importing it - just to see if its makes a difference?

Can you save it again via online viewer to other format?

I just picked a viewer first time just to see if there was an image. I have sinced searched for a Eps to cdr converter but they all seem to go from a format to EPS not the other way around.

if you send it to me then i can convert it to you as i have adobe illustrator. and eps is adobe file..

Thanks Paul for the offer a fellow member has already PM'd me and it is sorted. It seems that the file was saved on the newest Photoshop edition and my aged Corel couldn't read it.

I've had similar problems with files in Corel Draw. I use X3 but if the file I am sent is made on newer software there are occasions when I can't open them......photoshop is one that constantly gives problems so you're not alone. :biggrin:

This is the sole reason I upgraded to x6, from x4 the newer version doesn't give me any noticeable better features, but got tired of being unable to open customers artwork because I wasn't using the latest version of Coreldraw.
