Re: A moment to thank Martin and BMS for thier support

Post by ssp »

I really need to post about this here just so everyone knows how much respect and decency the people at BMS have for its customers.

Last week I was taken into hospital due to a serious issue with my back which had gone on for almost 4 years now. Over the wekend i was immobile while i had scans and checks done. One thing i noticed was that the bags to hold the oxygen masks and specialised tubing were just ripped and opened plastic bags, which in my opinion were total crap.

I spoke with one of the nurses about this and these were the bags they had wanted me to do before but they did not have the funds to do them.

Lying in the bed I thought that this was not on and it would be a great Thank you for thier help if i printed out the bags for them free.

I had my phone with me so I called BMS and spoke with Martin, I did ask if i could buy the bags at a slightly reduced rate or if they may perhaps donate them, Martin and I had a chat about why they needed them and he replied he would see what he could do.

I was let home yesterday and today i went to my shop to check things and waiting there for me was a package from BMS. Martin had packaged up 20 bags and sent them overnight.

Today with some help i printed the 20 bags out and delivered them to the ward I was on, the nurses were shocked that they got them so soon and were really happy with them and were very thankful to myself and especially BMS who they are going to send a thank you card too.

It made me realise that the suppliers we all use are always prepared to help us thier customers out when they can and sometimes go thaqt little more further than we expect.

I would really like to thanks Martin especially for taking the time to speak with me and for the Management and the team at BMS for allowing the bags to be donated free of charge.

Thank you guys for your help with this, it really means a lot to me and as always you will be my first port of call for my sublimation needs.

Regards

Simon and the staff at Ward 3/4 Nevill hall hospital.

Here are two of the staff nurses with one of the 20 bags that they will be using from today onwards.
