Just starting to ponder the above.

Of course with wide format comes the need for larger press ... hmmm

Just pondering at the keyboard and certainly no rush.

You don't 'need' a larger press - for a long time although we had a large format printer, our main press in use was just 40x50cm. We liked the advantages to work flow, economy, and reliability that a large format printer gave us. We do now have a large format rotary press, but it took time to get that in, although it was always part of the plan, we just upgraded equipment over time as budget allowed.

Pisquee, excellent point about the press there, it can come later. Have been offered one.... but getting to grips with the printer first makes sense, and keeps the bank balance healthy!
