Just curious if anyone has tried or experimented with different types of "stuff" to sublimate on. That is other than the standard blanks that are available.
For example fabric, leather, metal etc ...Just curious ..would love to know what people try and their success, failure and or ideas about this???

Think you may find you are asking to lend the goose that lays the golden egg there, Im pretty sure some on here have experimented with variious substrates the problem you will find is anyone who has had sucess with something is unlikly to announce it on the forum to all their competitors

Brett, I hadn't thought of my question in those terms, although I guess you have a valid point.
However I am curious about what will and what won't sublimate.

Thanks logobear, I would think a standard blank is something that is especially designed made for sublimation? Just my interpretation anyway.
I also have sublimated onto polyester fabric that I purchased in the fabric shop. I found this very successful. Although with so many blends these days finding 100% polyester is not as easy as I thought it would be. Also more expensive than I thought it would have been.
Somewhere I read you can sublimate directly onto silk. I haven't tried that ....yet

Iam sure it.wont replace dedicated ribon printer but it will give.you hell lot of.new options.
