Re: Replacement Blades - good deal from here

Post by logobear »

just had a very frustrating few days with the blades I bought from this link!
We use graphtec and i swapped over last friday, since then just little niggles and a few bad corners, today I cut a few lines of glitter FX flex, and the blade went blunt letter by letter!
The first line was good, next line thinner, next line torn, next line not cut at all, jjst scratched!
I know foil/glitter takes it hard on the blade, but this is terrible!
The blades might be cheap, but I think they are rubbish!
The cutting strip is just about new, no sore or scratch line, and all else remains constant.
Any other feedback on these ?

A bit misleading there John ( Stitch UP) . I too bought from the first link http://stores.ebay.co.uk/bladestock2010 and sadly agree with Logobear, they dont cut very well at all.

But blades from Edward Mathias are brilliant http://www.edwardmathias.com/

Sorry, it was the ebay shop Bladestock2010 - turns out they sent me 60degree blades when I ordered 45degrees.
To their credit they replied to my ebay message pretty fast, wonder what they will do about it, - wasted many hours and media trying to weed the badly cut, even changed my cutting strip!
will report back!
