He'd listed 30 of each of the carts, and has sold one set so far.
What other Ricoh models would these carts fit into?

Am I right in thinking that these carts would fit into the following Ricohs ... [h=2]2600 3300 3300n 3350n 5050n 5500 5550n 7700 7500[/h]?

Obviously without any support/warranty or appropriate ICC? but physically they should fit, and the inks flow through the printer and be squirted as expected onto the paper going through the printer?

Your second sentence says that you only suspect they are trading dishonestly.
They are trading these, not selling their own surplus stock. Trading these at those prices means they certainly aren't Sawgrass inks. As Pisquee says, 3rd party Korean or Chinese inks in litre + volumes are cheap(er) so the cost of 60ml squirted into a cartridge is a good return at that price.

I don't think they will Pisquee.

I purchased some 3300n carts by mistake once and they did not fit due to the grooves they have put in them. Martin will probably know better.

The refill carts I bought recently fit all those models, so I assumed the Sawgrass carts would be equally interchangeable.

They've said that they only have the stock they currently have listed and won't be getting any more in, so certainly not an ongoing trade, and just selling off stock til its gone.

Changed his listings to only 7 available of each now, not 30

Got to agree with Martin - I've seen the same guy selling these for months now, at that price they've got to be either refilled, or copies. Not sure about this listing but previous ones the packaging even looks as though it's been opened, but sold as brand new.

Has anyone asked him to confirm it's not fake?

I purchased a piece of well known brand jewelry once as a present for my daughter, it was advertised at 25% of the normal RRP! Together with my payment I asked the seller to simply cancel the transaction if the goods were fake, guess what happened? Transaction was cancelled by the seller :)

In this case, I'd advise the seller that using fake inks damages an expensive printer and offer the same get out unless he's 100% sure..

A few months ago I did ask him if they were genuine - he said they were. I didn't believe him, so didn't go through with the sale. If its too good to be true, it usually is.
