Re: Mug Templates.....anywhere?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there are any cheap (or free!) templates available for using on mug designs.
Also, can anybody clarify if clip art from various software is actually allowed to be used on mugs?

I was going to grab some Microsoft online clip art, but then wondered if it could actually be used, since my intention is ultimately to sell the item

Blimey, after sorting hardware, checking printer will be ok, sorting graphic software I must be nearly ready to start!

Thanks

Chris

You need to pop along to http://www.frames4photoshop.info or http://www.mugsquad.co.uk/mug-template-designs.html

I wouldn't just go picking clip art online either.. unless you know your are safe to use it commercially.. it's a minefield out there if you don't

I have got some from http://www.bubblegum-web.com/index.html you can either wait for the CD or if you email Gary and ask him, he might let you download it instead BubblegumWeb gary.g.foster@btinternet.com

I liked their 3D Mug Display images. I guess there's a plugin for Photoshop that can achieve that - anyone?

If you get their templates, I think you get the 3d as well so you can show it on your site. I know I did.

Nice to be able to do it yourself though. I have hundreds of templates I'd like to produce a 3d image from :)

If you speak to Gary at the site, he will tell you how he has done it. He did explain it to me, but I have not got that clever yet with photoshop.

Another place for stuff for printing is http://www.koolart.co.uk/ BUT, you have to get a license from them, it depends on what level of license you get as to the cost, and the license lasts for one year, but you have access to all their images and have free range to print them on anything. I am looking into it but need to raise the funds first!
