I have seen a lot of people selling personalised Christmas baubles this year (e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Personalised- ... 0946192046).

Does anybody know if these are dye sub. They do not appear to be the normal dye sub ones with a metal disc.

Ian,

I read that, but I thought it applied to the glass bauble only.

Oh well, next year we will be able to dye sub them with one of the new vacuum dye sub printers that look like will flood the market in 2013.

Water slide transfer maybe - cannot see them being dye subbed as you'd need pressure, that would crack the thing and the new 3d printing, well it would be too costly I think.

They look as if they are printed onto the bauble
, perhaps they use a flatbed inkjet printer.
