Here is a thought.
Why dont you pre sell the app within forum to raise the cash to get it finished so they get it first. Then you then have a app to sell wherever you like. Minimul financial inpact on yourself and the app gets finished quicker.
Eveyones a winner. I would pre buy. Defo

Hows about this Paul.
You give us a rough guideline figure for paying early to get it finished.
Those who are willing to prepay can then register their interest and you will be able to see how much funds you will be able to raise and see if it is feasible to finish with those funds.

Re: PRESS!tON first preview
Well that is a problem.
Are you paying coders everytime you make changes.
If you are cant you ask the coder to give you a set price to complete.
You will need to have a full specification on what and how you want it to function. This way when the app is finished and it requires final changes to perfect the app or iron out any problems then it wont cost any more.
Any competant coder will give you a set price from a spec.
You probably think whatever. But i speak from experience as i work for a company that develops bodyshop software so i have good knowledge of how coders work and pricing.

Might it be a suggestion that the basic setup is (say) £100 per year. Then you can get an idea of numbers interested. maybe you can offer a discount to the first 20 that pre-pay to fund completion ........ just a suggestion ....

Re: PRESS!tON first preview
That is looking really good paul.
So what are the bugs that need fixing and also if they are bugs should the coder not fix for free?
Anyway can you not list the bugs that need fixing and then get a total price for everything doing. That way you atleast know what you are looking at.
Also what language is it built in as i know a few coders myself who might beable to give a price to complete and iron out any bugs that exist.
