I for one would be interested in this if the price was reasonable. In fact any artwork that I could use that I was not breaking copyright on would be great.

As a person who lives with IP concerns on the 'other side' WDR thank you for actually caring!! The crafting community (whom I currently sell to) share graphics like there's no tomorrow!!! These old ladies just don't care...but the worm is turning for them!!! Right....I'll get started on some.....who do you think would be the most popular!??! I'm not really a UK TV watcher.....we watch a lot of science-fiction and fantasy....I don't 'do' Bore-the-nation Street or the other ones!!

Well as a Blake 7, Doctor Who, Fringe, Torchwood etc etc fan I would be happy with sci-fi or fantasy based images (they do not even have to be based on anything existing).
Any nice clean colourful image would be great.

Blake 7....did they ever re-make it?! With you on the rest....LOVED Fringe on Wednesday.....!! Do you think Joshua would sell or just the imaging style of the credits?!?!?! Remembering that these would be caricatures so need to stick with the main characters only!

Well I am sure John Barryman's image as Capt Jack Harkness would sell to old and young, male and female alike lol
Trouble is you never know what will sell till you sell it.

Most of my work is with astronomy/science based images, so prominent physicists or astronomers would be good

Okay..please don't laugh...this is a first attempt at him as I've never had any reason to draw him before now!! But is this the kind of caricature that you would be interested (finished off of course)...this is a very quick pencil sketch but he'd be in colour either as a vector and colour filled or as a digital painting. Feedback would be great as it helps me too for my own sublimation plans!! I do hope people actually know who he's meant to be!!! ;O)

I think you have an interesting concept there FairyD and it is something that could sell well I think. I will PM you with an something I have an idea for but my initial reaction to the image you have just done is its the wrong proportion.
If this is going to be printed on a mug then in my opinion it would need to be square or landscape depending on whether you print once or twice on the mug. It would be a shame to have to crop the image and by thinking about the end substrate format your images will look ten times better. Ask anyone on here that prints mugs for the public, they constantly get portrait images and the customer wants them wrapped round the entire mug.

I converted a couple of photos into line drawings with photoshop and printed to mugs and they were liked. Originals like this should be even better
I can just see a line up of the various Dr Who's similar to the 'evolution of man' lineup or maybe a set of James Bonds …
