Re: green iphone cover (want Black)
hi, ive been reading loads about the iphone covers, but can anyone suggest what i should change? my mate wants these (quite a lot) but he said the background needs to be Jet Black! everytime i print one it comes out greenish or faded, ive tried the usual 190c for 60s, and also the one in the picture has been done for 190c for 100s
what do you think i should try next? or is it a hardware issue. im using a sx130 with icc.

You might have to resize (shrink) your image before you can upload it here.

Re: green iphone cover (want Black)
Well, the first obvious question is do you get a jet black when you sublimate onto something other than the iphone cases? If you do not get a jet black on another item then it is probably an ink issue. If you do get a jet black then it may be the blanks.
Remember that most CMYK printers print black using a combination of all the colours and not just black - you may be able to adjust the amount of each colour it uses inside your software or printer driver if the green tinge is maybe coming from the cyan ink.

Well perhaps you have a duff batch of the printable bit. Maybe worth seeing if you can buy another from a different supplier incase it is the plate itself. I am sure there was another thread mentioning case issues before on here.

If you are using a Ricoh printer try lowering the temp to 170-180

If at first you don't succeed, read the manual.

Yes I also heard that but I don't want to put the supplier on here just in case it's not the problem and I don't know where people were having the same problem from because of the same reason .. Damned if you do and dammed if you don't springs to mind.WorthDoingRight;52308 wrote:Well perhaps you have a duff batch of the printable bit.
